We keep our bees in 18 locations around MN over a 150 mile radius. Each jar of our Single Source Honey has the location, hive number and floral source printed on the label. Our definition of Single Source Honey is honey from one location, one hive and one time period usually represented by a floral source or season. Our segregation of honey is unique and is the reason our honey has unique flavor and texture. All Ames Farm honey is raw and unheated, just the way the bees made it! Our basswood honey won 3 blue ribbons over a 5 year period at the MN State Fair.
