Laney Honey Co. began as a beekeeping hobby by Dave Laney. In 1982, after 30 years in corporate America, Dave Laney and his wife, Kay, refused a corporate move and decided instead to go the course of a small honey business. At that time, most people thought all honey was the same. Over the last 25 years, we have chosen to work only with beekeepers who keep their honeys separated by floral source. The result is our line of 12 distinct varieties, flavored only by the nectar gathered by the honeybee. Our honeys are unfiltered and minimally processed which preserves the distinctive flavors, trace minerals and pollen grains naturally found in honey.
